Everyone can do something to help young people stay out of trouble with the law.

Preventing youth offending is much more about changing the way our society views and treats young people, particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds, than about punishment and retribution.

This is a website for people in Aotearoa who are interested in encouraging positive youth development and effective strategies that lead to reducing the number and severity of crimes committed by young people.
